Pressure
Everyone at work and in my family is starting to notice that I am finding hints of a waistline. I am starting to feel the pressure of not backsliding and gaining the weight back. When I feel pressure, I tend to eat sugary, carby things. Yesterday and today have been sugary, carby days–even though I went to the gym, did my cardio, had a training session. I came home and ate pastry, chips, pudding, then had my baked fish and veggies. I keep trying to tell myself that it was just the workout, but that doesn’t explain yesterday’s chocolate chip cookie excursion. Anyway, the fact that I know this is good, but the fact that I can’t stop eating is baaaaaaaaaaad! I just have to make the decision to stop. Its so haaaaaaard.
I struggle with this too. But you know what Tink? You CAN lose weight and still have treats! It doesn’t have to be some all-or-nothing thing. I’m thinking you could probably eat a couple cookies after lunch daily AND chips before dinner, and still lose weight. Just make sure to keep your portions in check, and you should be fine. Baby steps….
Here I am, trying to get the last few lbs off, and still haven’t kicked my sweet tooth.
Don’t sweat the small stuff!

One thing that counts, is realizing what triggers your eating and what you eat.
just thinkof it as one bad day and carry on. Whenever i get cravings for sugary stuff i eat lots of fruit or a glass of milk. try and getsome low cal hot choc. just find somehealtheir lower cal alternatives when u know its gonna happen so that it has a less worse effect on ur weight. x
arggh this wont let me comment. anyway if u know a binge is gonna happen why dont u store up on fruits low ckal hot choc vege food anything like that so it will have a less worse effect on your weight and health when it happens. x trust me ive been a compulsive and binge eater my whole life but now i have a big big glass of low ckal choc and a biscuit or two which all together comes to about 200ckals which is good as opposed to a 500ckals 100g choc bar right?
*low ckal hot chocolate
No matter what Tink..don’t give up..show off that waistline and be proud of how far you’ve come..
You can still treat yourself, but like others have stated..surround yourself with good choices..it helps!
well atleast you are aware of what you need to.just keep being conscience of everything that you eat…just try loving the natural sugar from fruit better then the cane sugar….keep up the good work!!
